This was an early iteration of the breach kaiju from pacific rim ii. i wanted to use the opportunity to riff on the usual marine cthulhu shapes we associate with massive alien beings in the sea. elements of this design eventually found their way into the final creature seen on screen. he remains my favourite. this was painted in photoshop over a zbrush sketch. the idea was the entire length.
