It has some of the same negative aspects, but is far more enjoyable than fc2 was. i didn’t finish fc2, but primal i will finish one day. as for the differences to the other games, while there are no guns, it doesn’t lack them. primal manages perfectly well to create a far cry feeling without the usual explosions and gunfire.
