Power Steering Cooling Return Line Just Commodores Finaly stopped dicking around and got to it you need a 19mm flare nut spanner i made one of a 19mm ring spanner i had spare with an angle grinder its the inner most steel line under the exhaust manifold above the steering rack out of two lines you need a flare nut spanner becuase theres no room for an open ended with other right next to it and rack in the way its a tight fit of course undo. Followed all the tips from this thread. took no more than 15 mintures to remove the retun line from the steering rack (banjo) to the cooler. also remove the short return hose from the cooler to the fluid container. snaking the new hose back took another 20 30min., now is the challenge. treading the banjo washer to the rack. Luckily, adding a cooler to a power steering system is only a 3 step process and we will explain each one. (1) identify the low pressure power steering fluid return line.
