Wonderland Quest Lutris After reading the logs. its something related to python. i remember messing around with pip to install tensorflow and keras and other stuff. idk how that messed up lutris. edited 2: reinstalling python 3.9 from source code did the trick. apparently, pip breaks things. 4. So, i have a windows game that, to my knowledge, only exists as a physical disc and isn’t available online. rather than try and keep searching the web for a file of my game, i decided to manually install my game on my linux pc using the physical disc and lutris. from what i’ve read, a lot of people recommend converting physical compact discs (cds) into .iso files and installing and playing. Lutris does too much and some of not well but alternatives don't do any better. the one thing lutris get right is installation of games, the process in gamehub, and wine launcher is not as simple. there are stand alone install scripts "adamhm's linux wine wrappers" and "play.it" but this list is limited. 15. Right click it on lutris and click "add to steam" and don't change the compatability. create a desktop launch icon from lutris in the game you choose. then, add that icon as a non steam game. make sure to choose all files when looking for rhr non steam game. thats how i added heavy rain. Good news for this general topic as on a recent lutris update (i.e. v0.5.15 (although v0.5.16 is the newest at the time i typed this)), the change log says… “download runtime components from the main window, the “updating runtime” dialog appearing before lutris opens has been removed”.
